background: Ailiina discovered her magical abilities when she was only six years old. To fully become a witch, she had to move away from her otherwise normal family.
At first she loved her new life: she was finally something that people would surely notice.
However, as time passed and she got older, she realized she's really not all that special. Her magic was mediocre; not strong, not weak.
After finishing her studies, she became a traveling healer. She did not like her job, and one night she decided to try boosting her powers so she could finally do something remarkable.
The experiment didn't go as planned, and instead of becoming stronger, she just created a corrupted clone of herself.
The clone was just like herself, except for a different color scheme and different personality; melancholic and very quiet.
Originally Ailiina was going to kill the clone because she was scared of what might happen if she let it live, but she could not do it.
Instead of killing it, she moved the clone into a different dimension, hoping to keep it out of her sight...
